What do a soap factory and a design hotel have in common?
The villa in which Mittermeiers Alter Ego has been created was once the villa of a Rothenburg manufacturer of soaps and perfumes.
Soap, shampoo, toothpaste and similar products were produced in Rothenburg under the prestigious AULA brand for nearly 140 years - a success story which unfortunately came to an end in the 1970s.
